Wynn Resorts and MGM said they had talks in recent weeks about a potential sale of Wynn's Boston-area casino due to open in June

Wynn Resorts has had talks to sell its Encore Boston Harbor resort and casino to rival MGM, the companies said; the project, seen in January, is set to open in Everett, Mass., next month. Photo: Steven Senne/Associated Press By Aisha Al-Muslim and Jon Kamp Updated May 17, 2019 5:20 p.m. ET Wynn Resorts Ltd. WYNN -4.63% and MGM Resorts International MGM -2.41% are in talks for Wynn to sell its Boston-area casino project to rival MGM.

The Boston Globe reported earlier Friday that the two casino giants were in recent discussions regarding a sale of the property. Wynn Resorts had been in early talks last year to sell the project to MGM, as Massachusetts regulators were investigating the company’s handling of sexual-misconduct allegations against its founder and former chief executive Steve Wynn.

Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno said in a statement that Bill Hornbuckle, MGM’s president and operating chief, contacted him late Thursday and reassured him of MGM’s commitment to the western Massachusetts city. “We had a very good and mutually respectful conversation,” Mr. Sarno said. Newsletter Sign-up Mr. Wynn, who declined to be interviewed by Massachusetts investigators, issued a statement to them included in the report saying he had never had a nonconsensual relationship.

And again. Just for good measure: You still haven't apologized have you? Well then. I will continue, cause this is how you work

Maybe we’ll get lucky and they’ll sell it to a giant space creature who feeds on casinos by scooping the whole building right off the ground (soon afterwards excreting the meal in the form of locally owned bars, clubs, venues suddenly sprouting up in the area)

Trump can put it into bankruptcy if need be!
