Filmmaker Marc Forster is selling a Richard Neutra-designed home in Santa Monica, which was commissioned by a pair of Hollywood hopefuls in the 1930s, for $15 million

In the early 1930s, American movie mogul Samuel Goldwyn spotted Ukranian actress Anna Sten in a series of German films and recruited her to Hollywood, where he hoped she would become a rival to screen siren Greta Garbo.

Billed as the “Russian Garbo,” Ms. Sten never rose to the same levels of fame as the Swedish Garbo. To be honest, I wouldn't want to live in that neighborhood. I would try to build my dreamhouse with that kind of money and have some leftover and have a bigger property too still in SoCal. I dont want somebody's lived in house for that.
