Rather than have individuals rely on in-person training sessions or user handbooks, Spekit adapts training manuals and integrates them directly into the platforms themselves. That means when an employee is unsure of how to navigate an area of Salesforce, for example, they can click a pop-up to walk them through the process.
The Denver-based founder first came up with the idea for Spekit while working as a product manager at a real estate technology company. She noticed that though the company was pouring money into new technologies and tools, they struggled to get employees to actually learn and use them. When Fellay realized there wasn’t a tech-driven solution that fit the company’s evolving needs, she pitched the idea of Spekit to her colleague Zari Zahra and recruited her to serve as the technical cofounder.
“There's a whole cottage history of people who build content tools and guides for the Salesforce ecosystem, and people pay them a lot of money to help improve their sales team,” explains Craft Ventures Partner and COO Brian Murray, who led the investment round and will join Spekit’s board. “Spekit has the technology to surface that content in the right place at the right time to the right person.
