brooklynmarie Of course they are. Women are more likely to hold positions in office support, retail, and education. Men are more likely to work in construction, essential repair (e.g. roofers and plumbers), and shipping/receiving. Professions such as law & accounting are affected equally.
At least those women are only missing out on 79 cents to every dollar the out of work men are losing.
