The now New York City-based couple, who got engaged in the December finale of, participated in the New York Road Runners’ Virtual Resolution 5K in Central Park on January 10. It was their first run together in the city, but Clark anticipates there will be more race bibs in their future.

But Sunday’s race was simply about being together and starting the new year off right. Adams, 30, and Clark, 36, joined 25,000 other runners worldwide taking part in the virtual run, which ends January 17—The couple clocked in around 30 minutes—Adams crossed the finish line first, and Clark trailed a few steps behind to document the moment., Clark’s charity that focuses on addiction treatment, long-term sobriety, and building a strong, supportive community in recovery.

“I’m a big believer in ‘move a muscle, change a thought.’ So whenever I’m in a funk or feeling uneasy, [running] is my go-to for burning off steam,” Clark said. “When I’m going out for 90 minutes, I’m not trying to break a world record. I’m just trying to reset.”Clark has run six New York City marathons and is gearing up for a seventh this year—which is scheduled just a few weeks after he runs London . To prep, he keeps it simple: two short runs during the week, then a long run on the weekend.
