U.S. prosecutors have indicted Assange on 17 espionage charges and one charge of computer misuse over WikiLeaks’ publication of thousands ofU.S. prosecutors say Assange unlawfully helped U.S. Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning steal classified diplomatic cables and military files that were later published by WikiLeaks.

Lawyers for Assange argue that he was acting as a journalist and is entitled to 1st Amendment protections of freedom of speech for publishing documents that exposed U.S. military wrongdoing in Iraq and Afghanistan. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange denied bail by London courtWikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has had his bail denied by a London court. There should be reasonable limits on journalism sorry Wikileaks is too corrupt But I support a pardon for Snowden, for service to the Constitution even if it was sloppy & too much was released to make the point✌️ Good! Seth Rich approves from heaven. What Assange did to that sweet innocent young man & his family is beyond cruel & he should spend years in jail for that act of defamation alone. He pinned the hacking of DNC on Seth, knowing full well it was RU’s GRU that hacked DNC. SHAME
