Tammy Sun, the quintessential Silicon Valley tech entrepreneur, fired off an uncharacteristically low-tech Tweet recently. “Zoom fatigue has me wanting a landline and a rotary phone,” wrote the founder and CEO of Carrot, a startup that provides fertility benefit plans for companies.
Ms. Sun likes Zoom a lot. In fact, she says she’s a “power user,” spending nine out of 10 conversations on it, six days a week. The hours aren’t the problem, she says, it’s the real-time image of herself on the Zoom grid, reflecting her every...
End Meeting for All
JCOviedo6 Who cares? I mean really, do we have to analyze and understand every moment of our meaningless lives?
_resistanceaxis Instinctual?
yungspenceyoung “Zoom Fatigue” 🤣
Because you have to interact with the other idiots on the screen and it’s exhausting? Wait, is that not it?
just about sums it up
Some people’s voices video conferencing is annoying. Somehow in person I can tune them out - and still hear what they are saying.
Why isn’t the media addressing the MASSIVE NATIONAL SECURITY RISKS involved with using the Chinese Military developed Zoom? Waiting for a response from CNN or NBCNews is futile I know but why aren’t they interested in this HUGE cover-up? Makes one wonder...
After thousands of years of learning to cope with numbing PowerPoint, ceaseless quoting of movie lines and incessant references to pop culture, Zoom had to come in and mess up the calibration of our finely tuned communications.
Boring, waste-of-time meetings in stuffy conference rooms is how cavemen survived.
Hell is just one long zoom meeting that never ends
Is that going into the DSM

Even staring at the mobile phone screen for ten minutes can make the eyes sore and tired, not to mention to have a video meeting. But there is no choice, the former is because of work, the latter comes from self willingness.
Not as exhausting as having to travel for a meeting.
Thank you!! I said it from day one, no one understood why I had ‘screen burnout.’ Deactivated all social media except Twitter. Too many screens & isolation burnout

PoliceViolence If you handcuff a suspect and when a suspect on the ground ..... pause any further action . The following should be a nationwide mandate “If a suspect shouts I can’t breath or shows any sign of distress , the arresting office must call an ambulance “
What sane person is still using CCP Zoom? Stop promoting this garbage app and CCP spy funnel.

I hate video conferencing.
‘New normal’ is stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. I guess some people don’t mind dying having never lived 😉

Better than showing up at the office and dealing with the lumbergs of the world in person. Plus tech will eventaully eliminate all the bullshitter middle mgmt types.
RibeiroCarlitos :)
