The White House is expected to block former White House counsel Don McGahn's testimony to the House Judiciary Committee as soon as Monday, a source says

The options the White House could use to block McGahn's appearance include claiming McGahn is immune from testifying as a former adviser to the President. The Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel is expected to release an opinion that will address the immunity issue surrounding McGahn's testimony, according to a Justice Department official.

McGahn is now one of a number of officials who could be held in contempt by Congress.Earlier this month, Nadler's committee voted to hold Barr in contempt for refusing to provide the unredacted Mueller report and underlying evidence to Congress. House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff says he will take an unspecified"enforcement action" against the Justice Department for not complying with the committee's subpoena for Mueller's counterintelligence information.

As always I appreciate Trump’s honesty in cooperating with the investigations to shut down these fake claims and prove his innocence!!! Said no one, EVER

And unfortunately, SpeakerPelosi and the Democrats are expected to say that this makes them mad...and then do absolutely nothing about it.

So Trump can basically call him a liar, try to destroy his credibility and then not allow him to publicly defend himself!

Sorry folks, the latest dnc clown show is a dud.

because no white house has been as transparent as the trump white house, right?

POLITICO Playbook PM: Trump says he’d ‘absolutely’ send troops to the Middle EastTrump called the trade war with China 'a little squabble' and rejected the characterization that talks have broken down. More on the ongoing trade negotiations in Playbook PM: Narrator: Talks have broken down. The press helped give us trump in ’16, and they still refuse to admit it. The woman in the NY Times article below “has heard everything, and taken good notes,” trump said, yet no reporter saw fit to even LAY EYES on her. Instead it was ‘her emails’ 24/7. So yes, they've broken down. Trump doesn't have a way forward except by lying about the trade war that he's losing - and costing American consumers and businesses dearly. We're paying for Trump's tariffs, not China.
