Beekman, a redshirt senior, transferred to Washington State from Arizona Western Junior College last season. He was a safety for Washington's Cougars football team. It was not Virus related. Hearsay is that it was a respiratory issue. Autopsy and Toxicology test is pending. There was no foul play and it does not seem to be Suicide either. He was a very accomplished high spirited well respected disciplined athlete at WSU Pullman GoCougs
