Warren blasts Goldman Sachs over its Apple card and 'discriminatory' algorithms

and the bank's handling of claims that its Apple Card exhibits bias against women thanks to what she categorized as "discriminatory" algorithms.

Might seem smart to jump on this hotbutton issue bandwagon, ewarren, but be careful it doesn't backfire. The algo doesn't know applicants' genders,so at most it's merely reflecting a possible discriminatory bias that already exists in the culture. And even that's not certain yet
