Note: It's only worrisome if there's been a noticeable change. 'This new research suggests that sleep problems may be closely linked to the brain cell death seen in Alzheimers.'

Published 1:09 PM EDT Aug 20, 2019

Grinberg and 18 other scientists from the University of California San Francisco, University of California, Berkeley and the University of Sao Paulo, among others, worked on the paper. If napping is a part of your routine on a regular basis though, you don't need to worry about taking an afternoon snooze, or mid-morning for that matter.

They studied postmortem brain tissue of people who had donated their brain to research. Looking at the tissue after death is still the only reliable way to diagnose a neuro-degenerative condition. Researchers found"considerable amounts of tau inclusions" in the awakening areas of the brain, the study said.

As a result of this study and one in the past, she said, they have received funding to keep looking into changes in sleep patterns before memory loss begins.

Are Leaders Born Or Made?New research sheds new light on an age-old question: Are leaders born or made? This doesn’t seem like the most accurate way to determine nature versus nurture. A majority of Republicans join Democrats in backing red-flag gun lawsNew research also suggests the bold new policy would have an impact on reducing gun violence. How can you back a law, which has not been written? Crazy people can’t possess guns. That’s intent. The language is the law: it is yet unwritten. Stalin took special care of crazy people. He decided who was crazy and gave them a special room in Siberia. LIARS LIE, DEMOCRATS PULL THE TRIGGERS. I do not support this. Years down the line I see this being used against opposition. If you disagree with those in power you are “radicalized” and “dangerous” “unstable” and there goes your gun.
