the411now We only getting a pay raise to 13.00 and I been there for 2 years and I work overnight . I have put in for different higher positions..have never even got a interview not..there is no way to move up in this company to make $15. You get a 10% discount but you ain’t use it on food

Big corporations are able to pay higher wages vs. small businesses. Fewer small businesses equals bigger profits for corporations.

👍🏻👏🏻💝

It's a calculated move. Yes, layoffs next.

Easy to say for a Corp... what about small/medium biz? Will they disappear via absorption by the BigCorps? W/that in mind... will the idea of middle class moving up just disappear? Kind of a ‘trap’... 😳

👍🇺🇸

I’m gettin a raise suckazzz!!

Walmart earnings not good. Why? Now that semiconductor devices Parts are in short supply,This is the chance to invest. Please take a look at their earnings and dividends are very good. I bought SMH and AMAT, I will make money 😁

I definitely heard a different argument a few years ago. How about they start by giving health insurance to all workers.

Thank God for Sam Walton - Sam Walton knows how to make change at the top of his Walmart & America. Walmart MinimumWage fifteen

Ha ha. He'd hate any competition.....

Wait for the layoff announcements to follow…

Yay! I’m getting a job at Walmart once I go bankrupt at the nyse!!!

Time to install more self checkout lanes.

Easy for him to say

Now maybe they will give all employees health benefits

Hopefully, now the shelves will be stocked and the isles will be cleaned up.. only one could hope with that pay raise!!

Average so whose pay is it that is really going up. Is it the bottom end wage workers probably not. Since just the average will be above $15, meanwhile how many billions did your CEO make last year.Wal-Mart needs to pay everyone at least $15/HR they cam definitely afford it

About time Walmart did something right!

He's gonna cut hours if he has to go to 15.

Anyone been to Walmart lately? Almost all self checkout.

It needs to be adjusted to cost of living. In Cali., NY, etc. It may not be enough. In SD, $15 it is not necessary.

Ahh, averages. Just have my son a lesson how averages are a crap measure to go on. Term of the week, SKEW.

This is how organic wage growth happens... not by government forcing it upon all business.

Why does Walmart overpay its workers by 2x the Federal Minimum Wage? It’s a conundrum!

Minimum wage will go up but you're about to be inflated up the ying yang so you won't notice the increase.

👀

CEO says min wage should go up .... hey, nobody was ever stopping you from paying more if you wanted to in the past.

👏

Can I get some.nack pay from 1999-2000? Lol

It will never be enough ...after $15 they will demand $20

woulda been nice when I worked there a couple yrs back ago

Hey kroger BiteMe

Nobody forces Walmart to pay employees the federal minimum wage.

Huge news

I look at it this way, If you can’t afford to pay your employees at least $15/hr your business most likely sucks!
