This happened in dec 2020 and he is just now being fired Not a proud moment for the police force

I guess he can be given the opportunity to review his statement as to how “it makes no difference to his life”

Trash news network. He wasn't fired after pepperspraying a black army lt. He was fired 4 months after pepperspraying the lt because now the people can see the footage. The department cleared the officers and didn't care until the video went viral. Dumb copy and paste journalist.

Good

ALL COPS ARE BITCHES

Now put him in prison for a very long time. This shit is out of fucking control. If there had been no cameras they would've killed this dude and blamed him and no one would be the wiser. How mush of this is happening when the cameras are off?

What about the other cops who stood by and let this happen?

Didn't take long

Not enough

NaveedAJamali And it took them five months - Oh I hope he gets a big pay off from them - I actually emailed them and told them he should be fired immediately and I am sure the video has not helped

Very convenient the firing happens after the whole world has seen the shocking treatment received by an innocent NOT to mention extremely polite and benign gentleman

Both of them need to be fired

The town should be hit with a class action law suit. That will learn them a thing or two.

NaveedAJamali Just now, huh?

SURVIVAL 101 “Traffic.” Always pull into a well lit area where the potential Police Assault, including but not limited too, spraying of mace, hitting, kicking, verbal abuse leading to your takedown are clearly audible and visible as you attempt to assess your situation.

NaveedAJamali He should have been fired months ago. Better late than never I suppose.

NaveedAJamali Both of the cops should be fired

Soon to be hired in a town nearby because that's just how these things work. No meaningful accountability.

A shame that it took 4 months for the police dept to sanction one of their own If it wasn't for body cams & personal cams these racist cops would have gotten away with assault Racism is still going on in the south. I hope both officers lose their jobs & r brought up on charges.

NaveedAJamali Only the Hispanic cop gets fired? What's up with that?

What took so long?

How about charged with assault carrying a sentence of 8 months in jail.

This was 5 MONTHS AGO. FIRE everyone on duty at that time, including the Chief. If I were at that gas station on 5 Dec, Gutierrez would’ve met his maker that evening. And I’m white.

So the Hispanic officer was fired after the poor excuse for an Army officer couldn't follow directions!

Great news

Army Lt. Nazario... very close to my name Good that he filed that $1 mil law suit against the police dept. ...he might get $2 mil now ...

On Sunday night at 2230. Nice.

Good.

The lawsuit argues that the two police officers violated Lt. Caron Nazario's constitutional rights through the use of excessive force and unlawful search and seizure. H/t NPR

Now put his aa in jail for god sakes 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Good !

It took 3 months...what the hell!

Good.

--- Why Isn't The Punk In Jail ?

Now charge him with assault
