Vanderbilt’s Sarah Fuller had a lot to be grateful for this Thanksgiving weekend. Last Sunday she guided the Commodores’ women’s soccer team to a win in the Southeastern Conference tournament as goalkeeper.
And then on Saturday she achieved something that wasn’t even on her radar a week ago. After a Covid-19 outbreak decimated the Vanderbilt football team’s kicking unit, Fuller was hastily seconded to the gridiron squad and became the first woman to play a down of football in one of the five major conferences.

College Football made history today as Sarah Fuller of Vanderbilt kicked the football as a lady kicker. Looking at it, it looked very strange because you could see no usual huge bump in the front - rather, a soothing, soft depression, with huge strength!

This is good, my high school had a Lebanese soccer player as a kicker, he was good, perfect foot control. But, if it's blocked and she attempts a tackle, I dont want to be the player that ends her life or career.
