Harper’s husband, Tony Cacciotti,in late June of 2019 that doctors had advised that she be moved into hospice care, but that he couldn’t bring himself to do it.
“For those of you who have been in this position, you will totally understand that ‘it’s hard letting go,’ ” Cacciotti wrote in his social media post. “So as long as I’m able and capable, I’ll be where I belong right beside her.”

Oh no, that so sad!
I had her as a passenger on one of my flights, she was the friendliest celebrity/Actor, she spoke to all the flight attendants on our flight and was so supportive to us and women’s issues.
How sad to see this. She had such spunk and made watching The MTM show a joy. She will be missed but at least we know thanks to stations that know good shows her talent will be shared by generations. RIP Valerie
