UTSA announces broadcast info, kickoff times for 2022

The UTSA student section turns out for the game against Western Kentucky during the 2021 Conference USA Championship football game at the Alamodome on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021.UTSA football unveiled the broadcast schedule and kickoff times for the 2022 season on Thursday, starting five of six home games at 2:30 p.m. with telecasts on CBS Sports Network, Stadium and ESPN platforms.

The Roadrunners are slated to play on CBS Sports Network four times, including the season opener against Houston at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 3 in the Alamodome. Road games at Army on Sept. 10, at Middle Tennessee on Sept. 30 and at FIU on Oct. 14 are also set for CBS Sports Network. The only home contest not lined up for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff is the 2021 Conference USA championship game rematch against Western Kentucky at 5 p.m. Oct. 8. The matchup is set to be shown on an ESPN platform, which will also broadcast UTSA’s home game against Louisiana Tech on Nov. 12 and a road date at Rice on Nov. 19.

UTSA also plays on the Longhorn Network against Texas at 7 p.m. Sept. 17 and will be shown on Stadium on Sept. 24 against Texas Southern, Oct. 22 against North Texas, Nov. 5 at UAB and Nov. 26 against UTEP.Sept. 17 at Texas, 7 p.m., LHNOct. 8 vs. Western Kentucky, 5 p.m., ESPN NetworksNov. 5 at UAB, 2:30 p.m. StadiumNov. 26 vs. UTEP, 2:30 p.m., Stadium
