Used Mercedes E CLASS (211) E55 AMG 2004 for saleHIGHLIGHTS • Possibly the finest example of this generation of E55's in the country • A truly pristine example with a very low mileage and only two owners • An exceptional car with more power than a Ferrari F360 THE BACKGROUND This generation of AMG E55 is widely accepted as being the car that started the super saloon horsepower race. With more power than the Ferrari F360 launched the same year, it made a big impression and really launched AMG to be the brand we know and love today. With top end Mercedes refinement and gigantic horsepower figures this really was the car to beat. THE HISTORY The current owner imported the vehicle from Japan in August and due to house renovations needing priority has decided to sell the car. We don’t have any history Prior to import (except for the service logs), but at only 28,500 miles there wouldn’t be much to say anyway! It has evidently been stored well in Japan and since arrival in the UK it has been stored covered indoors. THE INTERIOR No faults and as new with the only exception being a couple of scratches near the keyway to the glovebox. It's hard to overstate just how good this car is inside, it’s like it's just rolled out of the showroom. Truly exceptional condition even for the very low mileage. Everything works like new, from the over engineered (but brilliant) cup holder to the drop down screen for the minidisc player it is faultless. Finished to Mercedes-Benz’s highest standard with nappa/nubuck leather upholstery and walnut trim it’s a luxurious place to pilot this V8 powered rocket from. THE EXTERIOR As with the interior we can’t get over just how good this car is. No scratches, dents or any blemishes of any kind, anywhere. The paintwork is perfect and gives a glossy shine that really needs to be seen. This car does not look like it's covered 28,500 miles, from the carbon fiber peeking out from the discreet roof spoiler to the wheels, every inch of this car is spot on.
