In Los Angeles’ public schools, kindergarten enrollment is down about 6,000 students, or 14%. In Nashville, Tennessee, public kindergarten enrollment is down about 1,800 students, or 37%, from last year. I don’t know. My mother didn’t go to kindergarten, at age six went straight to first grade, didn’t have English as a first language and was awarded a full scholarship to Cornell. Her parents only had an 8th grade education and there was no Affirmative Action for women 1950’s btw

Since the beginning of urbanization & places around the world, there were always homeless people, who never took 1 single shower 4 over 6 months, & lived on streets, yet they were living without catching viruses! Or even in slams or garbage cities! How come all of a sudden COVID!

Since 70s, AIDS virus from Chimpanzee got into human being lives, millions died since then, and over 45 years, there is no official cure for it! Since 2008 SARS, H1N1, EBOLA etc. viruses were killed millions with no official cure! There many genetic disease which take human live!
The world of probabilities, possibilities, actuaries& pessimism has prevailed this world! Crunching numbers is not science to act like god 4 predicting! How come these models cannot predict better weather forecast, or helping people 2 win when they gamble in stock&share markets?!

Staying at home eating adds to obesity, so how scientific is that? Drinking alcohol became an essential part of life during a pandemic, how scientific is that? Mental health clinics & hospitals are under tremendous pressure as a result of this method of handling this virus?

Don’t worry, they will catch up by the fourth grade. Seriously. They’ve studied it . Head Start gives kids a bump, but it dissolves by 4th grade. By then they are the same as their peers. Homeschool anyway.
There is no rush. Looking back , it is clear to us and to many that the rush to get through K12 was entirely fabricated. Who benefitted? Perhaps those who financially benefit from education. The future is in choice and education alternatives which don't rush the learning process
