The long-lost work from 1606, “Judith and Holofernes,” had an estimate between $115 million and $170 million.
There should be caveats in place so that significant artworks like these aren’t allowed to be bought and then hidden from public view forever. The worlds great artworks should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford to hang it in their super yachts Caravaggio
