The defeat – 19 against, 17 for, 11 abstentions – is only the second time in the council’s 16-year history that a motion has been rejected and is seen by observers as a setback to both accountability efforts, the West’s moral authority on human rights and the credibility of the United Nations itself. The Americans left their democracy and human rights in the hands of the Taliban in Afghanistan. Children's rights and women's rights were given to the Taliban.

Looking at the comments & the article itself, it clearly reveals the hidden hatred westerners have toward any developing countries -e.g. China-.They want non-white nations to stay backward. &they are mad that the world is not falling for their weaponizing of human rights anymore

All communities (not countries) should have equal representation at UN. This will avoid political benefits over human rights.

The UN has lost its way

The West’s allegation of China’s human rights abuses is so preposterous. After murdering & slaughtering millions of Muslims in the Middle East these same human rights abusers are turning round without evidence nor support from the Muslim world to accuse China of their own crimes.

What a joke. The United Nations is pointless.

傻缺一群,捏造着根本不存在的玩意
