Ukrainian and Western officials recently voiced alarm that a Russian troop buildup near Ukraine could herald an invasion.

Ukrainian and Western officials recently voiced alarm about a Russian troop buildup near Ukraine, saying they feared it could herald an invasion. Moscow has denied planning to invade and accused Ukraine and its Western backers of fabricating claims to cover up their own allegedly aggressive designs. Russia and Ukraine have remained locked in a tense tug-of-war after Russia annexed Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula in 2014 and threw its weight behind a separatist insurgency in Ukraine’s eastern industrial heartland, known as the Donbas. More than 14,000 people have died in the fighting.

Russia, seeing new U.S. and European support for Ukraine’s military, sternly warned that any presence of NATO troops and weapons on Ukrainian soil represents a “red line.”

Morning_Joe What do you call this in FL? Do tell. morningjoe

Aw, not on christmas?

Morning_Joe I'm really not sure what could be done in this situation. I think the only option is sanctions and making sure Ukraine has plenty of firepower. Obama dropped the ball. Somehow I don't think Biden will. Besides, we have millions of enemies at war from the inside to deal with.

Where's Joe Biden On vacation?

Remember when the Poles attacked a German post? Like that. Ukraine will be attacking some minor Russian position shortly. The 94,000 troops are just there to provide a 'reasonable' response.

Biden is playing foul and Ukrainians not noticing it

Russians, Ukraine, the World & most Americans want to see PavilonianPUTIN IN🔥He'll🔥 Where he Belongs Do ya think you can help us Mr.P

Morning_Joe russia pushes nearly 100,000 modern troops on a border with a country whose lands it has already occupied..its sabre rattling of the worse first war kind, it needs a response..and a response of nato troops could even prompt russian action..its a mindless pissing contest putin /1
