United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson has left intensive care after 3 nights in the unit for his continuing COVID-19 coronavirus symptoms by MattRyanPerez

Earlier Thursday, a spokesperson for Johnson reported that the prime minister's condition was improving and he was continuing to receive standard oxygen treatment, but had not needed a ventilator.

While Johnson was working during his early time with the virus, foreign secretary Dominic Raab has taken over since the prime minister was admitted to St. Thomas' Hospital.Johnson, 55, is perhaps the most powerful person in the world that has contracted the coronavirus. The United Kingdom has 61,516 confirmed cases of the coronavirus with 7,097 total reported deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University. It experienced one of its worst days on Wednesday with 938 deaths.
