UK minister dismisses 'scaremongering' over leaked Brexit report

LONDON - British energy minister Kwasi Kwarteng on Sunday dismissed concerns over potential food, fuel and drug shortages in the event of a no-deal Brexit as scaremongering. “I think there’s a lot of scaremongering around and a lot of people are playing into ‘Project Fear’ ... we’ve got to prepare for no deal,” Kwarteng told Sky News when asked about leaked government documents outlining the potential shortages.Reporting by William James; Editing by David Goodman

Good planning covers every possibility, even the undesired outcomes. It’s not complete otherwise. I’d be more concerned if they did not develop a plan for every contingency. I thought journalists went to school?

The purpose of the leak was to inform the general public of facts which the government wishes to hide. Everybody in the U.K. should rightly be anxious in the middle of the chaos caused by past and present government leaders.

Interesting, as the report comes out of the very same government in which he serves! Could someone help out Left Hand, introduce him to Right Hand so he knows what it's doing?
