The conclusions of the investigation, which was ordered by Health Secretary Matt Hancock after it emerged officials were “exaggerating” virus deaths, are expected this week, the newspaper said. Britain paused its daily update of the death toll last month and the government ordered a review into how Public Health England reports coronavirus deaths, after academics said the daily figures may include people who died of other causes.

England’s death figures vary substantially from day to day due to this reason, the academics had argued.

‘Could be’? We’ve never had one single accurate ‘daily death count’ to be scrapped in the first place. Absolute shambles. Criminal shambles.

Why?Hiding the cases won’t stop the pandemic .

All else in this piece aside, that pic is fantastic. I cannot imagine how cool it would be to see part of a castle amidst retail shops. (Obviously I have no clue how close the castle is to the shops lol.)

We could report accurately, rather than not at all.

Clorox and P&G struggle to meet COVID-19-related spike in demandClorox and P&G products are so popular during the pandemic that the companies are struggling to meet demand. Clorox Wipes might not be fully stocked on store shelves until next year, and cleaning sales accounted for 30% of Clorox's fiscal year 2020 sales. Don't forget Lysol.
