California: companies have to treat workers fairly, Not skirt labor laws by only having independent contractors. Uber: Forget that. We’re not sharing the wealth or providing healthcare. Cali: See us in court. Uber: We’re prepared to spend millions in court fighting this. Not a fan of the rideshare business model ! It is pro customer model. It’ll have a natural death. But, trying to make all the drivers as full time employees, will surely kill Uber and Lyft young.

Lol OK Of course California is the first state to push for this. Shocker

Lol 😂 “Technology company” 🤣😂🤣😂 Many drivers are from outside of the U.S. & doing background checks is a joke. EVERYONE needs to realize that some of these guys are not doing anything they would not do in their countries of birth, legally. You can change an address, but you don't change the lack of ethics.

California Governor Still in Talks With Uber, Lyft Over Gig Workers LawCalifornia Gov. Gavin Newsom said he still hopes to reach a deal with ride-sharing giants Uber and Lyft over the status of their drivers under landmark employment legislation headed toward passage this week in the state legislature. Uber fix my a/c 😎 Meanwhile, what is GavinNewsom doing about the Google facebook Twitter monopolies?
