Between late January and late March total cases in the country jumped from six to more than 86,000.

At least 4,163,464 people in the U.S. were reported to have been tested, as of April 22. This amounts to around 1.2 percent of the country's population of nearly 332,639,000.

:"We need to do better [with testing]... we need a well-organized system at the state, city and local level, with guidance and help from the federal government, to be able to have enough tests as cases begin to resurge." Average daily new deaths in the country have been increasing from late March to April 17, when the average daily death count peaked at 2,248. It then briefly flattened out until late April and mostly declined through early July, according to Worldometer.

Back in May 12, 2020 the World Health Organization advised governments that"before reopening, rates of positivity in testing should remain at 5 percent or lower for at least 14 days," JHU noted. Average daily deaths have also flattened out from early June through September, after peaking in late April, according to Worldometer.

A+ job

It’s really embarrassing for us in the US. We’re supposed to be the greatest country in the world!

Yeah, because the data from China and India is so accurate. 🙄 smh. It's time to open the country. The mask mandate needs to go. People can certainly where them if they want to or never leave their home for that matter if that's what they want.

Newsweek, this sucks. You are showing a BLM rally where most people are masked as your lead. Why not be truthful and show the unmasked, unsocial distanced Trump rallies or college parties or crowded Florida beaches You are spreading fake news for Trump. GOPBetrayedAmerica

keep trump in office and millions of Americans will die...unnecessarily. HerdImmunity = TrumpGenocide
