LONDON—British lawmakers looked set to delay a decisive Brexit vote on Saturday, forcing Prime Minister Boris Johnson to request a further delay before the U.K. leaves the European Union beyond the end of the month.
Lawmakers were poised to force the government to grant them more time to scrutinize the deal that Mr. Johnson settled with the EU earlier in the week, effectively voiding a crunch vote expected Saturday to seal the Brexit divorce settlement.
