As snowfall from one system winds down today, another system could dust parts of the Midwest and East Tuesday into Wednesday. Latest forecast:

The first system brought snow to the upper Midwest over the weekend and will wind down on Monday.

The first system brought snow and strong winds to portions of the northern Plains and upper Midwest over the weekend. Over a foot of snow was reported from this system in Minnesota's Arrowhead region. Other parts of northern Minnesota and eastern North Dakota saw over a half-foot of snowfall. Snow showers could sweep through the upper Midwest on Tuesday and then the Ohio Valley and Central Appalachians on Tuesday night. Parts of the Great Lakes could also see bands of snow.Bands of light snow could spread through parts of the mid-Atlantic and Northeast on Wednesday. This might include parts of the Interstate 95 corridor from northern Virginia into New England.
