Two drivers are dead after a car drivng in the wrong direction on I-37 South near Elmendorf collided with another car, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Police said the accident occurred at approximatley 2:30 a.m. when a driver traveling southbound in a 2011 Toyota Corolla was struck by a 2013 Ford Focus traveling northbound in the wrong direction. The accident occurred in the 11400 block of I-37 South.. Police said the driver of the Corolla struck a tractor trailer before coming to a stop in the grassy median.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the injuries from the accident, according to SAPD.claire.bryan@express-news.net
