Twitter on Monday filed a complaint against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, seeking to stop the state’s investigation into its content moderation practices

Twitter on Monday filed a complaint in U.S. District Court against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, seeking to stop the state’s investigation into its content moderation practices.

On Jan. 13, five days after the company suspended Trump in light of the deadly riots at the U.S. Capitol, Paxton announced he was launching an investigation into the content moderation policies at Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon and Apple. The company said it tried to work out an agreement with the Texas attorney general to limit the scope of his office’s request, which sought all of the company’s policies, but the two parties were not able to do so.

Paxton has sparred with the social media platform in the past over its content moderation policies, asserting in a Fox News opinion piece last May that Twitter’s fact checkers were politically biased against Trump.

Good!

NastyOldWomyn Paxton can’t seem to stop himself from filing frivolous lawsuits that involve Trump’s fall from grace, in one form or another. And when will Paxton himself be stripped of power — and disenfranchised from any political future — for his own serious legal infractions?

This bung boil is heading for the slammer.

Let's all give thanks to Jack and TwitterSafety for not folding. I know everyone appreciates this...

Guess Paxton likes to spend voters hard earned dollars on B.S. You can't tell fire in a crowded theater when there's no fire and you can't incite a riot and expect to get away with it.

brontyman Good! I hope jack and Twitter don't put up with paxton's bullshit. He's always litigating stupid crap, when he's the one who needs to be held accountable. Paxton is a criminal like Trump.

Texans thanks Twitter!

The AG in Texas has every right to investigate Twitter. Let's hope that other states join the investigation

Ironically there will be more of this. The Democrats and Republicans are waging war and big tech. Texas isn’t the only State. Several other States are going to do the same thing.

Jack and his kids at SF Twitter HQ don't like tRump or Texas.. .. so I've heard...

How does Paxton still have a job?

Ay le voy disculpe gracias por su apoyo y muchas bendiciones

He's on his way to prison soon.

Why isn’t Paxton in jail yet?

Good.

REGULATE BIG TECH!
