The Transportation Security Administration has banned employee use of TikTok for the agency's social media engagement as the US questions whether the China-owned app poses a threat to national security.
The announcement came after Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called attention to and urged the end of the TSA's use of the application in a statement Sunday, saying that federal agency security risks on the platform are"very real.""A small number of TSA employees have previously used TikTok on their personal devices to create videos for use in TSA's social media outreach, but that practice has since been discontinued," the TSA said in a statement to CNN.
Everything seems to be a threat
Omg😢😢😢😢
If you work for TSA and this TikTok thing is an issue for you, then find employment elsewhere. Chinese are huge thieves on many levels, technology, fashion label knockoffs, hacking. So no, don't give them access to a Federal Agency.
Neuropathy
ridiculous...
If it’s Chinese made or Chinese owned, it’s a threat. They should really investigate media groups for their Chinese connections, too. Lots of the personalities could well be bought and paid for, blackmailed, or coerced.
tic toc videos are the best 😁❤️
TSA should be banned!
Their ads target young girls for abortion. The company is literal trash.
Tik-tok? A national security threat? Lmao this is so funny
