“I’m going do a big executive order, I have the power to do it as president and I’m going to make DACA a part of it,” Trump said in an interview with Telemundo anchor Jose Diaz-Balart.
While it is unclear whether the president can grant DACA recipients a path to citizenship through executive powers, he stated it is his intention Friday. Trump’s announcement comes just weeks after the Supreme Court 5-4 ruling that rejected Trump’s attempt to dismantle the program for young immigrants. It said that the administration had not provided proper legal justification to end the program instated by former President Barack Obama in 2012.Trump took to Twitter to express his anger about the ruling at the time.
“Furthermore, the president has long said he is willing to work with Congress on a negotiated legislative solution to DACA, one that could include citizenship, along with strong border security and permanent merit-based reforms,” Deere added.

Deport them!
Joshuas07039403 I have no problem with DACA if they are productive members of society and within a specific amount of time, become American citizens the right way but any of them on government assistance, who haven’t bothered to apply for citizenship, should be deported.
