Hours after Trump’s remarks, House Democrats made the case on the Senate floor that Trump’s priority is actually himself.
Meanwhile, in Switzerland, the chatter throughout the day focused on other issues, such as the Trump administration’s attempts to negotiate with French officials over a contentious digital tax that takes money from revenue that American tech companies earn in France.The Trump administration appeared ready to strike a deal with France ahead of the Davos summit to further negotiate before the tax or retaliatory tariffs go into effect.
Alberto Alemanno, professor of EU law at HEC Business School in Paris, described the president’s speech as an “endless, tedious and bombastic list of largely unsubstantiated claims that he hopes may secure him (a) second term.”

Stock Market is not the economy. Consumers & workers make up the economy. Job growth is steady because 85 mil Baby Boomers are retiring or dying off at rate of 10k/per day leaving job openings. Only 65 Mil Millennials are left to fill those jobs. Even Trump can't eff that up.
