BREAKING: Multiple outlets are reporting that Trump will pick the 48-year-old U.S. appeals court judge to replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy in 2018. That seat ultimately went to now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Barrett, 48, has been a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit since 2017. She taught for 15 years at Notre Dame Law School in Indiana, and before that, clerked for the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. Like so many of Trump’s nominees to lifetime federal court seats, Barrett is a member of the Federalist Society, ...have records of being hostile toward abortion rights, LGBTQ rights and voting rights.

Will she be the first female justice to wear red robes and a white cap? 🙄
