President Donald Trump is not expected to be criminally charged with inciting a riot at the U.S. Capitol, a Justice Department official said Friday.
Trump, his lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and Trump's eldest son Donald Trump Jr. all had spoken at the rally. "We don't expect any charges of that nature," the official said when asked by a reporter if the DOJ was considering charges against speakers at a rally for Trump right before the riot Wednesday.
