This system is expected to stay offshore into this weekend.Significant impacts from this tropical system are not anticipated.Tropical Storm Odette has formed several hundred miles off the East Coast, but serious impacts are not anticipated.The center of this storm,
the 15th of the season, will remain just far enough off the coast to keep impacts to a minimum and Odette is moving away from the United States.This storm will transition into a potent non-tropical low by Saturday night and is expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds to portions of Newfoundland Sunday.
This system may brush portions of the Northeast coasts as it tracks offshore.Much of the precipitation will be on the eastern side of this system, meaning that coastal areas will experience light or no rainfall, while heavier rain will remain over water.
