Sweeping FDA guidance would drastically cut salt in American foodsThe FDA is asking is food manufacturers and restaurants to cut salt in foods, with the goal of lowering American's salt intake by 12 percent in the next 2.5 years. Why are we only doing this now? Should have been done at least 20 years ago. Salt!?!?!? We desperately need to reduce/eliminate SUGAR from American foods!!!!! We need salt to live...we do not need SUGAR! oh, there must be a vaccine for that! ... what about sugar? in everything... gmo corn syrups ? everything... anyone checking into that?
