Alina Habba, Trump’s new attorney, also replaced a longtime Trump lawyer in another defamation case brought by a former Apprentice contestant.

Earlier this month, one of former president Donald Trump’s best-known attorneys — veteran litigator Marc Kasowitz — withdrew from a case where Trump had been sued for defamation.

It’s unclear why Kasowitz stopped representing Trump in the defamation case, which was brought by former “Apprentice” contestant Summer Zervos, or how Trump chose Habba to represent him in that suit and the one against the Times. Neither Trump nor Habba responded to requests for comment Wednesday. Last week, in an interview about the Zervos case, Habba told The Washington Post that she had never worked for Trump before taking on that case this month. She declined to say how she’d been connected with Trump.“I just stepped in,” Habba said. “We’re hoping to have some traction and clear the president’s name.”

She’s got his number.

Lawyers have realized that when Trump hires you, you become his co-defendant.

Low profile? Is this code for saying “I am not going to pay you”?

He’s suing his dead brother’s only daughter for 100 million. What a stand up guy.

He's not low profile now. Lol. The guy has to be craving media attention if he is tied to TFG.

Trump should have his throughly examined!
