OAKLAND — Three men, including two who were in a vehicle, were wounded in two East Oakland shootings Saturday night and early Sunday, authorities said.The double shooting happened about 11 p.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of East 12th Street.
Two men, one 20 and the other 21, were in a vehicle with a third man that had stopped for a red light. The men told police that a pickup truck pulled up alongside them and someone inside began shooting at them. The two men were wounded and the other man, who was not hurt, drove them to a hospital, authorities said.The other shooting happened about 1:45 a.m. Sunday in the 7600 block of Bancroft Avenue.
A 21-year-old man told police he was walking by himself when another person confronted him on the street and began shooting at him. The man was hit in the arm and was able to make it to his home in the area where police and medical personnel were called. He was taken to a hospital.Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money in the double shooting and up to $5,000 in the other shooting for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
