Three people died early Thursday after a pickup truck hit a stalled car on the Bay Bridge near Treasure Island, the California Highway Patrol said.The wreck happened about 4:15 a.m. in the eastbound direction of Interstate 80 just before the island, according to CHP spokesperson Officer Mark Williams.
Williams said that drivers and passengers in a vehicle that stalls on the freeway or other major roadways have options.
