There's reason for Olympic cynicism. The opening ceremony was a much-needed cure

HBO’s ‘100 Foot Wave’ follows surfer Garrett McNamara to a town in Portugal where the waves are bigger than anywhere. The reason for olympic cynicism is the inherent corruption and exploitation. A show does not change that.
