When asked what inspired him to start sharing makeup content, Gabe told BuzzFeed,"Growing up as a kid, I was always having to defend myself as a person without limbs. I also grew up in a Mormon home where I struggled to find my identity as a gay person who stood out physically. With that being said, I wanted to define the odds and break down barriers and turn heads. I think I've at least accomplished that, if not more.

Whether that's in a physical situation that makes them different, or in a sexuality identification situation, to help them find who they are healthily and creatively, and also let them know that they aren’t alone.

I admire his ability to function without arms and legs . Putting on makeup is not something I understand but it’s his life and if it make him happy so be it
