This Malaysian Curry Powder Was My Grandma's Secret Weapon—And Now It's Mine Too

How did Baba’s curry powder become such a vital part of our family’s culinary history? Back in the ’60s, when my mom was a teenager, vans started making the rounds in the residential neighborhoods of Kuala Lumpur selling various pantry staples like rice and roasted, milled spice mixes to local housewives.
