This 87-Year-Old Triathlete Just Became the Oldest Man to Finish the Ironman World Championship

Hiroshi Inada, aged 87, has won a Guinness World Record for being the oldest person to complete the Ironman World Championship.

In a further statement to theJapan Triathlon Unionlast week, Hiromu said,"I think I was only able to finish the race because of the support from all over the world. I don’t think about the limit of 'how old'." His coach, Kiyomi Niwata, said"I hope [he] will continue to play an active role in the next category (90 years and over)."
