Seven children under the age of 17 have been killed by gunfire in St. Louis since June, police told CNN.

Her only son's illuminating smile will be missed.

— Lewis E. Reed August 13, 2019 Warnecke also blames gun violence for the recent child homicides, yet her focus, for now, is on Xavier's death. "It's a small neighborhood. People know each other. They know who come and go, more than we do. I know people know who shot and murdered these children. I know for a fact people know who is responsible and we are not getting the calls we need. We are not getting people knocking and demanding that we arrest these people," she said.

Rest In Heavenly Peace Xavier😢 💔

Enough already children should not be dying like this Lord have mercy on this country

Wouldn't the white supremacist going around in that particular neighborhood shooting little black kids stick out like a sore thumb and be easy to identify and arrest? Seems like it.

The media typically focuses on mass shootings and not gun violence in cities like Chicago, St Louis and Baltimore - cities with some of the toughest gun laws in the country. An honest debate is needed to find a solution that works. Supporting local PDs would be a good start.

And the gun hating leftist, identity-politic, race baiters are completely silent. Crickets. If they can't pander it, they don't talk about it.

So sad

Man 🥺

Even if the barbaric Iranian and North Korean armies had guns, they were afraid of death. American law deals not only with dictators, but also with ordinary violent criminals who are at risk to vulnerable groups through rigorous scrutiny.

That’s life and death in the democratic stronghold we know as the City of St Louis. Weak Mayor. Weaker Prosecuting Atty.

I am planning on running for POTUS. As POTUS I would via Executive Order mandate that any person that any person responsible for a child's life loss be arrested, indicted, tried and jailed for life. 1800 kids a year are killed due to abuse/neglect

Just a little bit more gun control and it will all be solved. Keep pushing 🙄
