At the North Valleys High School caucus site in Reno, Nevada, Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Sanders supporters drew from a card deck to break a delegate tie between the candidates.

That's how Democrats settle matters in the state that's home to the nation's most famous gaming mecca.

party rules , if two caucus groups are tied, then representatives from each candidate draws a single card from a deck in order to break the tie. The winner is the high card, with aces the highest. If both candidates draw the same card, then the winner is determined by the suit of the card. Spades are the highest suit, followed by hearts, diamonds and clubs. The Nevada Democratic Party said they had distributed an un-opened deck of cards to all precinct locations and that the deck should be shuffled by a precinct chair at least seven times before being used. The supporter who drew Buttigieg's card told NBC News that after an unlucky go at the Blackjack table the night before, her winning draw was a welcomed consolation prize. Read more: NBC News

Seems ridiculous. Funny Whose deck? Just give your weekly pay check to the socialists. They know how to disperse of it better then the commoners. And the Ace was low... Bernie won, he should get ALL the delegates. RiggedDNC We had to do that at my precinct today too! We had to break the tie between Pete and Bernie as well! Bizarre. It felt very Vegas haha

Slugfest in Vegas sets record as most-watched Democratic primary debate everThe fiery candidate showdown among Democratic presidential candidates drew nearly 20 million viewers on NBC and MSNBC, a record high. Trump couldn’t stand up to one minute of debate in this format. A mental midget. He’ll find some excuse to weasel out of any debate in the future. A sad show indeed. It's as if Trump had the event paid for by his team. The lede on this story is questionable. I'm not sure Bloomberg's appearance has anything to do with viewership. The debate was fire. It was evident on social media. And I'd fathom that had a lot to do with viewership.
