US employers cut 140,000 jobs in December, according to the latest jobs report. Women accounted for all the losses, losing 156,000 jobs, while men gained 16,000.

For three months, they held more jobs than men in the US economy — something that had only occurred one other time in history, during a short period in 2009 and early 2010. grandmagrit Indeed. My company fired workers on December 31, 2020, even though it had its best profitable year, the same as the past 10 years, ever. Each year better than the next. Even during Covid, they succeeded. And fired workers at the end of the year.

This is to be expected. With many children being homeschooled, there needs to be at least one parent in the house for a productive learning environment for a child. Not to mention single moms are forced to exit for their child. I don’t expect a drastic improvement til 2022.
