As she makes her franchise debut, Andor actor Adria Arjona reveals why she refused to take any Star Wars props from the show's set. Disney acquired the rights to Lucasfilm back in 2012 with the goal of breathing new life into the Star Wars brand, and in just a few short years, they launched a new trilogy centered around Daisy Ridley's Rey, John Boyega's Finn and Adam Driver's Kylo Ren.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY After launching Disney+, the studio has taken a small hiatus from the franchise’s theatrical releases and began creating Star Wars content for their streaming service. The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan Kenobi were extremely well-received and paved the way for Star Wars’ newest series Andor. The show serves as a prequel to Rogue One, following the adventures of Cassian Andor and his time as a spy during The Rebellion.
"There's something quite interesting about 'Star Wars' that everything is very much all about the fans, and they have a whole warehouse with like a million things of 'Star Wars’. So, I didn't even ask if I could keep something. I was like, 'One day, they'll have a little museum, and maybe they'll have my boot. So, maybe I'm not gonna ask for my boot.
Why A Star Wars Museum Would Be Perfect Fellow Andor actor, Diego Luna, wasn’t quite as altruistic during his time on set, having recently admitted cutting a deal with the prop master to walk away with a few credits. Other big screen Star Wars actors who have confessed to stealing props from their sets include Kylo Ren's Adam Driver, who said to have kept his lightsaber and multiple helmets from his costume.
Although Andor actor Adria Arjona's goal to have her props displayed in a Star Wars museum someday may seem lofty, it is not out of the realm of possibilities that Arjona may see her dream come true. Franchise creator George Lucas is currently in the process of building a $1 billion museum that will feature Star Wars memorabilia, as well as other Lucasfilm projects, an undertaking many have compared to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London.
