The Roger Stone pardon saga

He was once the subject of an acrimonious departure from the Trump campaign, despised by one of Donald Trump’s closest aides. When he was later convicted of lying to the Congress, obstructing investigators and intimidating a witness, the same person cheered from the sidelines.But now, as Stone prepares to find out his punishment on Thursday, the longtime Trump political whisperer has become a MAGA-world symbol of deep state overreach and judicial corruption.

“You can count on the usual suspects who competed with Roger Stone to have strong opinions,” said Michael Caputo, a former Trump 2016 campaign aide who is spearheading the effort to secure a Stone pardon. Barr unsettled the legal world last week when he suddenly intervened to overrule career prosecutors who had recommended that Stone should be sent to prison for seven to nine years, in accordance with federal sentencing guidelines. The move came after Trump had already complained about the sentence recommendation, raising concerns the attorney general was doing Trump’s bidding.

IF you pay any attention to political attacks by the “System” this is it. Eric Holder...lied Bill Clinton...lied Hillary Clinton...lied Susan Rice...lied James Comey...lied ITs a long list. NONE of them were charged in a court of law. BUT Stone...ask why him?

He will be pardoned at the end of president term.

I’d bet by quitting time tonight.

I know it’s written into the Constitution, but Presidential pardon power should be done away with altogether. I can’t see a single good reason why any chief executive should have the power to pardon someone who’s been convicted in a court of law.

And it’s how astonishingly corrupt such an act would be. We have to limit the president’s pardon powers.

Pardoning Roger Stone will complete the destruction of justice, law & order, and constitutional government. The GOP enabled this, stood by & did nothing!!! Vote them out with Trump!!!

It should be the exact time that rogue judge starts reading her decision so Roger can walkout before she says is finished.
