The real story of the 2018 election was the youths | Analysis by CillizzaCNN

Washington For decades of elections, the"youth" vote was like the city of Atlantis. It promised untold riches, if only you could find it.

And like Atlantis, no one could. Sure, Barack Obama galvanized young people in 2008 and, to a lesser extent, 2012. But that felt like a personality-driven movement, as young people viewed Obama as their generation's John F. Kennedy. Without another Obama waiting in the wings, it was hard to see young people being so involved again. All of which makes what happened in the 2018 midterm election so interesting.

In each episode of his weekly YouTube show, Chris Cillizza will delve a little deeper into the surreal world of politics. Click to subscribe! .On its face, that should worry Republicans. A Pew poll released earlier this year showed that millennials and Gen Z members are significantly more liberal -- across the board -- than members of older generations. Seven in 10 members of Gen Z believe government should do more to solve people's problems; 64% of millennials said the same. More than 6 in 10 in both generations said the increasingly ethnic and racial diversity in the country is good for society.

CillizzaCNN After what you've been 'reporting' for the past 2+ years, you wouldn't know a real story if it slapped you in the face.. oh wait, it DID and you STILL screwed it up. Would LOVE to see your people get mad at being made to look like fools by the left and call them out. Good luck!

CillizzaCNN Cuz their minds have been poisoned by liberal educators, and not because they know the truth! When has a young adult 16- 26 EVER read a newspaper, watch the news or learn more about a politicians political platform? The few that do are conservative! The uneducated vote liberal

CillizzaCNN No, the real story is still a global phenomenon, politicians are beyond dysfunctional, voters are feed up with fake promises. It opens the doors to candidates with no prior political experience. It’s happening world wide. That’s the real story.

CillizzaCNN The foolishness of youth, I miss the innocence of imagination. 😞

More Stores Have Closed So Far In 2019 Than In All Of 2018. So What?We are used to measuring the success of retail by counting how many stores open and close.
